Well it's official, we now no longer have a guest room! We moved furniture and stuff to the attic yesterday to prepare for Luke's new big boy room! I am so excited about getting his room together and hope it looks as good as it does in my head! :) We had a busy weekend cleaning stuff out and throwing away. We are getting prepared for this little active bundle of joy! I don't know what we would have done without Frannie and MiMi to help out with the boys rooms! Thank ya'll!!! :)
So we are staying busy and I am getting more and more tired by not the minute, the second :) I am preparing myself to be tired for the rest of the year. Hopefully I will get some rest when Brian and I go away for the weekend by ourselves while Brian's mom is on Luke duty! I just want to sleep, lay in the sun, and eat! Doesn't that sound like the best day ever!!! It does to me and I hope it comes true! :)
In fun news for me, Luke put his arms out to the lady at the nursery yesterday at Church! Luke actually does fine in the nursery now, but has had to ride in the bye bye buggy everytime, but the past fews times he has been great! I told the girl that she had no idea how big that was he did that! It made my day! I will say her telling Luke that they had cookies and bubbles pretty much sealed the deal. Luke is OBSESSED with bubbles! I mean I could probably buy a huge machine that just spits out bubbles and leave him for hours to be entertained! It's comical and annoying at the same time :)
I am feeling ok right now minus these darn round ligament pains that make it hurt to walk, but finally bought a pregnancy belt to help out. I think it is helping me though! Sam is so active it is crazy! It is amazing the difference this pregnancy is compared to Luke's! I mean Luke was active, but this child never sleeps I feel like!! Might be a bad sign for me, but oh well! :)

My baby is full blown toddler and it makes me sad! He is so dadgum fun though that I just love him being this age! I am so excited about having another boy! These boys are going to make me very tired next summer! I can't wait! I made these little madras pants! I love madras and seersucker so much! He has some nice madras pants though too :) Brian took these pictures before heading to church yesterday. He looks so grown up! I love the little polo shirt and pants, but don't think Luke is out of Jon Jon's! He will be wearing those until I get the No from Brian which will be after this year maybe :) I love a little boy in a jon jon! :)
The top picture is my favorite! He is so stinken handsome if I say so myself :) He looks like a mini Brian :) I love it :)

Luke dance and other happenings.....

I was driving down the road today and was reminded that I have a blog :) I have been so busy with just life that I never sit down and take the time to write anything! I have to change that b/c I want to keep this thing going so I can make another blog book and keep track of things!
So what have we been up to lately?! I am in full blown nesting mode...I clean my house everyday and keep it straight. It might dwindle but for now we have a nice straight house :) I know Brian is liking it! Luke keeps me busy ALL DAY running after him or trying to find where he is in the house! He is all boy! He is really changing so much daily. He is learning too a lot. He is OBSESSED with books and we read all the time! We ask him all the time what animals say and he imitates them. He says shoes, cheese, juice (all in his own way of course but I know what he is saying!). We will ask him where the baby is and he comes over to me and pulls my shirt up :) We don't ask this in public :) I am busy getting everything all together for Luke and Sam's rooms. We still need a few things, but it's coming together! I can't wait to put Luke's room all together! It's going to be so cute!

And little Sam Barrett...this is one little active sucker in my belly! I love feeling him inside of me moving around! I like it more I feel like with him than Luke. I think it's just b/c I know what this sweet human becomes and I love it! My big cravings right now are Butterfingers and Schlotzsky's sandwiches! Oh my goodness I could eat these everyday! Hate Schlotzsky's is so far but I think I would drive where ever right now! :) I will make a post here soon of the little fun things for Sam and his crib!

We are going to be busy here at the Harris Household the next few weekends organizing and cleaning! Brian is super excited :)

Mama's new obsession!

Yep, I have gotten into sewing! I am obsessed! I sit here on the couch and look around at stuff in my house thinking, "what can I sell?" just so I can go buy fabric! How sad is that! My sweet friend Jill taught me how to make shorts a couple of weeks ago. It is so easy and now makes me mad that I have bought stuff when I could have made it! I went to another friends house Margaret Ann who helped me last week and now I can make pants! I am going to her house to this week and learning to make a romper/jon jon and I am so excited! I have wanted to start sewing for several years now and finally I have learned! It is therapeutic and I really do enjoy it. I keep making shorts or pants and don't have shirts to go with them, but hopefully I can get my applique girl on board :) so needless to say, I might need to go get a job at a fabric store :) Of course I fall in love with this when I need to be using money on the boys rooms! :) Oh well, I have made Luke some cute red seersucker pants, and some other shorts. I have to just find ways to get some more fabric and go from there. But honestly, it is really easy and love it so much! My family has been laughing at me for being so obsessed :) Even Brian :) but he is proud of me! I am going to save us money though in the long run on our boys clothes! Can't wait to make them matching stuff now! :)

The nightly ritual......
