Just had a bath, and was feeling full and tired right here

We had a great Christmas this year! It was very busy, but so worth it not having to travel anywhere! We might have set a new tradition and not travel anymore on holidays :) Anyway, Luke had a great Christmas with clothes and toys from everybody! Here are a few pictures from Christmas!
We are still doing great, but I will admit the getting up in the middle of the night has gotten old! Luke will be 6 weeks tomorrow though so I am hoping here in the next few weeks it will get better! We are going to be traveling some this month going hunting with Brian to his grandparents and then going to New Orleans which I am really excited about! We shall see how that drive goes! Luke will be 10 weeks old then so I am hoping he will be sleeping through the night by then! We shall see! :)
That is it for right now! I hope everyone has a great New Year! I know 2009 was great for us having Luke...let's wish to a great 2010 and no babies for me this year (that is my plan :))

Christmas!

How time flies! Luke was a month old this past Saturday! We have been doing great so far despite being a little tired, but that hasn't stopped me to much! Luke is growing everyday! He eats all the time! He is making me tired how much he eats :) He is 11 lbs now so I feel like I am going to have a piggy on my hands! He sleeps ok at night and seems to be on the same schedule during the night. He is still only sleeping 2 to 3 hours at a time, so I am hoping we can get him sleeping 3 and a half to 4, but I am not going to hold my breathe! He is a good baby so as long as he is eating, growing, and sleeping I am fine with that! We get out pretty much everyday! We went to the mall yesterday with my 2 nieces and nephew and they had their picture made with Santa, and today we went back to the mall and then ate lunch with 2 of my good friends and their kids today! It was so nice!

I am so excited about Christmas and staying here!!! Brian's family is coming here to visit so we don't have to go anywhere! We are going to go out of town for the first time though next weekend for New Year's so Brian can go hunting! We will be staying with his grandparents who we are really close to! I am so exited! Luke gets to hang out with his great grandparents! :) Anyway, not a lot going on except the holidays!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. God has given me and Brian our Christmas gift early :) I just love this little baby so much. It is amazing how much God loves us and I forget this. Now that I have Luke, I can now see how much God really loves his children.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

Santa Baby...

This past Friday night we had our annual lighting of the tree in our neighborhood! We went to the Wades and ate chili and then bundled the boys up in their strollers and got their picture made with Santa!! You can see how excited Luke was to meet Santa :)

Luke had his 3 week doctor appt this morning! He has gained almost 2 lbs and has grown an inch! I have never understood when moms talked about the percentile thing, but I learned today! His weight is in the 80th and his length in the 90th I think he said? :) You can tell that isn't important to me unless he wasn't growing, but we all know he is! Brian is real proud of his son :) The doctor said he was going to be tall :) Thank goodness he got that from his daddy and not his mom!

He is a very good baby though. We have a system at night so we are both getting some sleep! I am ready for him to be on a schedule though! Hopefully not long!

Ok I have let him cry long enough to write this post :) Better go get my boy :)
