It's All About The Christmas Card....

Does anybody else get uber excited about sending Christmas Cards out like I do? I mean now that I have a baby it is even more exciting to me! Not only Christmas, but I want to send a picture card out for every holiday! I have to stop myself! This year I am going with a cute card from Shutterfly like this one or this one.

There are SO MANY different cards to choose that it is hard because they are all so cute! I have used Shutterfly cards for a lot of projects.

I just found this saved card I did a few years ago when it was just me and Brian :) Now we have added our little munchkin! They are great quality cards and fast shipping! If you get their emails they always send out awesome deals with their products and that makes it even better! Not only do I love the cards, but I am one of those dorks who matches wrapping paper around the tree :) I like my presents to be color coordinated. This year, I am going to add the little finish touch of putting a cute Christmas tag on all the presents to match! Shutterfly has these too! 

This year is going to be a little tough since I will have a very curious one year old all up in the gifts! I plan on wrapping "fake" gifts and put those in the front so Luke will actually tear those presents up and not the real ones! :) Check out Shutterfly if you are stumped on where to get your cute Christmas card! Luke and The Great Pumpkin!!!

This morning we headed to Hayden, AL to the Great Pumpkin Patch! This is another thing on my list of things I couldn't wait to do when I had a baby!!! We had a great time and Luke did too! He wasn't sure about what we were doing when we got on the hayride! It was fun though and we said next year he is going to love it! We got a lot of great pictures and it was a beautiful day! We picked out our pumpkin and headed back to the barn for some fresh caramel and apples to dip! Yum yum yum!!! See you next year Pumpkin Patch! :)

Oh my where to begin on this post about the cruise. Sorry these pictures are so out of order! There were so many I couldn't keep in order. So let's start here. Thursday we traveled to Mobile with my parents to aboard the Carnival Elation. Will make this short and sweet....cruise people, you need to figure out a more efficient way to board this massive boat. the end on that. Same goes with getting off! We finally get on the boat and check everything out and go to our room. Have you ever been on a cruise? Ok, well let me tell you the room's, hmm, how should I put this; THEY ARE TINY. You know what makes it even more tiny? Sharing it with your 11 month old and his pack n play :) sorry, no picture...bad memory :) j/k. There was SO MUCH food on this boat that you honestly could eat 24 hours a day! As of right now, if I smell french fries and chicken fingers, I am pretty sure I might get sick to my stomach! I have to suck that up though b/c my cute little boy above, yes Luke, was OBSESSED with the fact that he could have all that food to himself any time of the day! I told him at the end of the trip to go ahead and come back to reality b/c it is not like that at the Harris household :) Friday was a fun day. We walked around and looked at everything on the boat to know where we were. I will have to say one of the highlights of this trip would be Chief (my dad) and my cousin Newman who entered the Hairy Chest Contest :) You will see no pictures of that on here b/c I will be saving those for blackmailing purposes if needed in the future :) It was rather funny. My dad won :) He got this awesome gold trophy of the boat...I think Frankie has it now. As he won the trophy the man handed it to my dad and said you won a piece of ship :) I thought it was funny...I know Frannie inappropriate.
Ok I could write about everything, but let's just get to any highlights that I might want to remember from this trip. We got back in from Cozumel just in time to watch our Auburn Tigers spank the Razorbacks! That was fun b/c there were a lot of Auburn fans on the boat and Luke had on his cute Auburn romper so of course he was the cutest and everybody loved that he was wearing that :) And then there was karaoke each night and let me tell you, that was pretty funny :) hilarious when people get up there all serious and start singing these slow deep songs! I mean come on people...it's suppose to be a fun song. I had a great drink on the boat called Kiss on the Lips :) it was mango and peach schnapps! yum!
I am just going to end this post....the trip was fun, but it was a little hard with a baby. I think if we ever went again we will not have a child :) Thanks Chief and Frannie for everything though! :)

Luke - 11 months!

In just one short month this baby above is going to be one!!! Are you kidding me?! Where did this year go! He is so much fun right now but he does make me tired :) He is all better now after that awful stomach bug! This child has been eating like there is no tomorrow, so I think he has officially gained his weight back! Luke loves him some bananas, chicken, french fries (his new love thanks to the cruise ship), and pancakes/waffles. He is still eating 4 to 5 6 oz bottles a day and 3 meals, so needless to say he isn't starving over here :) He is still into everything including my curtains! He knows and waves bye bye, raises his arms for touchdown Auburn, and definitely knows what War Eagle is so that is all that matters :) We are still working on Mama, but of course just comes to me which is ok...as long as he knows who I am that is fine.

My buddy is sick....

You wouldn't know except for today, but this little booger is sick! He has had a stomach virus for 5 days now! Took him to the doctor this morning and he has lost 2 lbs. Just want him better before our big trip coming up! This is his new face....he thinks it is funny to squint :) he is such a mess. This was taken a couple of days ago. He is not this happy today at all! He has been throwing up and let me tell you it was the saddest thing to see this morning! It was horrible watching your baby be sick and ALL OVER ME. I didn't even care. That is love there :)

Luke's new shoes.

This is my sweet boy above who I can't get enough of right now! He has been super sweet lately and I just want to eat him up! This particular day he was just precious. Crawling up to me and giving me a hugs, just being happy playing, etc. I love him. We also went to BUY BUY BABY and got Luke his first new pair of shoes!! I think they are so cute I can't stand it!! I think he is even cuter in them :) he was a little skeptical about them at first but he is over now :) But wait, he has not been able to wear them b/c it went back to being a thousand degrees outside! agh! I hate it! So tired of this heat! I hate winter but love the fall! Ok back to Luke.
Have I mentioned how obsessed Luke is with Brian??? I mean I know Luke loves me and all, but this child squeals when Brian comes home and can't get enough of his DA-DA!!! It is about the sweetest thing ever! The other day I was holding Luke and waiting for Brian to come in the door; well as soon as Brian walked in Luke looked at me with this expression that was like "are you seeing what I am seeing?! DAD IS HOME!!!" and then he squealed! It was awesome and totally made Brian's day :)

Luke is still all over the place! Has not touched baby food in forever and only eats big boy food! I took him to chick fil a the other day and he ate the nuggets kids meal :) so funny to me. He is a pro at his tommy tippee straw sippy cup and still downing his bottles! He is 24 lbs and I can feel it :) not close to walking yet...prefers the crawling so whatever...he is still a baby and I am ok with that!
