My Baby Shower!!

Ok, here are pictures from my baby shower this past weekend! It was so much fun! I can't believe it is already over! Now I feel like it is going to fly by these next 12 weeks!

I got so much stuff for the shower! I am very lucky that we got pretty much all the big items! Luke got his stroller and carseat, pack n play, swing, jumperoo thing, and lots of stuff with his name on it! I think we are pretty much almost ready for this baby! :)

I decided to wait and post pictures of the chair and the rest of the room when the nursery is done! We are getting it put together slowly but surely! I am waiting on the picture to go above his bed, and then we will pretty much be done with the room! :)

Brian's Surprise!!

Somerset House Bed & Breakfast

So last weekend Brian turned the BIG 30! We had a great weekend and lots of fun! It was exhausting, but a lot of fun! So Friday night we went and ate at Highlands and it was awesome! I had triggerfish which was the best fish I think I have ever had! :) Brian had duck I think? Anyway, when the dessert came out I handed Brian a little package all wrapped up. He pulled out a sheet of paper with this picture on it! It said at the top "We are staying here tonight"!!! He looked very confused of course and a little skeptical as I was too! I told him we had to drive to Talladega though after dinner. So when we got there the very nice owner was waiting on the porch for us! This house was beautiful! Girls, I would recommend this to anyone! It was great and not expensive!! When we got there the owner took us in the house and kind of showed us around and then brought us up to our room! There are 4 rooms in the house to stay in. We were in the Weems room that had pretty blue walls, and a nice white comforter, and a blue toile bathroom! It was great! The next morning we walked downstairs and Gloria (the owners mom who is 85) had the table all set for us! She had coffee and orange juice out. We sat down and she brought us a bowl of fruit and then for the main course we had french toast with bacon. It was very good and so nice! You almost forget you are only 45 minutes from home! Gloria ended up sitting with us at the table after we ate for an hour and just talked to us. She was very sweet!

After we left I went to go pick up Luke's chair which is adorable!! Pictures later I promise! :0) Then Brian's sister Anna and her husband Drew came down for the night! We had a few friends over for Brian's birthday and had a lot of fun!

This weekend is a whirlwind itself! Brian's mom is coming to stay with us tonight and take us to dinner, then I have my big shower tomorrow morning, and then off to my parents house for my grandmother's 85th birthday party! Thank goodness we are going to the beach next weekend for my birthday! I need to rest! :)

Happy "30th" Birthday Brian!!!!!!!

Today is my sweet husbands 30th Birthday!!! Isn't he cute! :) I got up and made him blueberry muffins, went and took him balloons and cake at lunch, and getting ready for dinner at Highlands! I have a surprise for him after dinner, so I shall post later on that! We have a busy weekend ahead of us too! Tomorrow we are having a few friends over for dinner, then Sunday off to my parents after lunch for a nice Lasagna meal, and then off to dinner with his dad and Portia! Whew! I need a nap thinking about it!
I am feeling pretty great these days minus some setbacks, but nothing major! I feel Luke all the time now which is so much fun! Oh and I passed my glucose test! Yea! That was some strong sunkist junk you have to drink!
Oh and the chair came in!! We are going to pick it up tomorrow! I will post more pictures from this weekend later! Have a good Friday night! :)

Nursery.....and my two nieces...

So here are pictures from the nursery! We had an exhausting weekend getting everything together! Brian's dad and Portia came down to help put the furniture together!! Thank you thank you!!! It looks so good! I am now ready for the whole nursery to be put together! :) So here are a few pictures! We painted one wall blue for an accent wall. I have my friend painting a picture that will go above the crib, and then we are still waiting on the chair that will be here in a couple of weeks! Below is the dresser and hutch....I have to get the changing pad for the top. I am still waiting on the bumper pad and bedskirt for the crib. The last picture is a glimpse of what you see in the room! :)






I had to put these pictures on here! This is Isabella being silly and playing with Brian's camera! She is a nut...she calls him Boo Cookie, because she can't say Big Cookie :)


Here is sweet Anna Frances! She is 5 weeks old and so sweet! :)
