Luke walking!

Well Luke started walking a lot last night back and forth in the den! I think he is just now starting to get his confidence up! He wasn't into it this morning a lot, but I will work with him! He was so cute walking and stumbling all over the place! So any day now he will be all over the place! Yay Luke!

few things for Sam

Well I am at the halfway point! I was 20 weeks 2 days ago! I can't believe that still! This pregnancy is flying by, but only because I have a toddler keeping me super busy! The top picture is from the ultrasound when we found out what Sam was. The second picture is just a couple of things I have gotten for Sam! If anybody knows me I am a monogram freak and I love it and always will! You will usually know who my kids are by their monogram :) I am having to stop monogramming Luke's name now on stuff just b/c now I know I am having another boy which I am super excited about!
Today I felt Sam outside of my belly! I have been feeling him inside of me for awhile, but this morning I felt a leg or something! It was so fun! He is very active! :)
I am getting ready to start the whole switching room process for Luke's big boy room! Hope he likes it! :)

I am loving Brian having his new camera! He has gotten some great pictures lately! I just love these, but especially the last one. I think it's so sweet. We have been staying busy going to play groups and hanging out. Luke is still not walking, but he could if he wanted! He is stubborn and won't walk. It will be any day now though I am sure. He has gotten attached now to his monkey woobie Ziggy. It's so sweet how he loves on him when he goes down for a nap and bed. He still waves to us when he goes night night. He is obsessed with his pacifiers and switches them in and out of his mouth constantly. It's pretty funny. We go to our playgroups every Monday with girls in the neighborhood and it's great to get out and have some where to go. I am ready to start doing nursery and big boy room stuff for my 2 boys! I can't wait! :) I am even more excited now about having a boy! I got upset last weekend looking at boys clothes and seeing how Luke has gotten so big and can't fit in these cute smocked outfits! I am glad I will have another boy to dress up! :) Will post pictures of cute new things for Sam here soon! Sorry I know this post is all over the place! Bye!

Luke's new thing.....

sticking out his tongue is his favorite thing to do right now :) He is such a goober, and cracks us up every day! He is such a little toddler these days and wow does he keep me busy! This pregnancy is already flying by! I have to get a picture of this, but everyday when Luke takes his nap and goes to bed at night, he puts his paci in and then waves bye bye to me. It is the sweetest and saddest thing at the same time! It's funny though and we love it! Anyway, we are staying busy and having fun. I am already on nursery mode, except I won't be doing a new nursery this time! Luke is getting the new "big boy room". Sam is getting a new crib, but as for the room's Luke is getting a new one! I hope he is ok with this! I don't want him thinking he is getting the shaft with a new brother coming along! I am going to make it really great though for him and he will love it! :) Hope you are all having a great week so far!

It's a BOY!!!!!

Well we found out this morning we are having another little boy! This is Luke holding up a picture of the sonogram of his little brother! I am definitely shocked and so excited! Brian said at the doctor, "well still no weddings to pay for!" :) They are going to be best buddies I hope and will probably be ganging up on me! His name will be Samuel Barrett Harris, and we are going to call him Sam. Luke and Sam. That does have a very cute ring to it I must say :) Samuel is a family name on both sides. It was my great great grandfather on my mom's side, and it's Brian's great grandfather on his dad's side. Barrett is just a name we both really like! I am so excited and now can't wait to meet this little guy! :)

Boy or Girl??!!!!!

Tomorrow we will celebrate whether Luke will have a little brother or a little sister! I can hardly wait! This pregnancy has been completely and utterly different which makes me think I am having a girl this time! Last night Volree looked up the old needle and thread string test to hold over my wrist. If it swings in a circle it means girl, and a straight line means boy! Well it went around in a circle! I think it will be funny if that is right :) So I am excited to get started on the nursery and have a little fun project! Stay tuned for an updated post tomorrow afternoon! We will find out if this little bundle of joy will be Samuel Barrett Harris (not sure which one we are calling him yet) or Anne Barrett Harris (double name) :)

Luke "The Toddler"

A little long overdue, but Luke has made a few accomplishments the past few weeks and is now really turning into "The Toddler". He is now being a big boy and eating with a fork and spoon. It is pretty funny to watch! On Christmas night he was sitting in my lap and he picked up a fork, dipped it in my broccali casserole and ate it! Brian and I looked at each other and started laughing and was like, well aren't we a big boy now! Ha! So we bought him a fork and spoon and he is pretty obsessed with it. The actual thing I love right now is him finally holding his bottle! Yep he is 13 months old and doesn't hold his bottle! He actually knew how to hold it, but why hold it when someone will do it for you! It was weird b/c he would hold his sippy cup and drink out of it since he was like 7 months old, but nope not the bottle! This makes life so easy now! I can just hand it to him in the car or where ever and I don't have to hold it! Yay Luke! :) We are going to be getting him off the bottle here soon. We have little things we have to work on before baby #2 comes along! But for now, I will enjoy it! :)

Luke "The Brusher"

Well Luke finally got his own toothbrush! Yes I am a little behind getting him a toothbrush! I knew he needed one since he now has bad breath like a normal person :) We took him to his bathroom before bed and he loved it! He got really upset when we took the brush away! We had to keep saying night night brush so Luke would get over it a little bit! It was really cute. Not sure if we actually got some teeth cleaned this first time around, but we are getting there!

Auburn University - 2011 National Champions!!!!

Yep you are seeing right! Warrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Eagle Baby!!!! We are the 2011 National Champions as of January 10, 2011!!!! What an awesome game against the Oregon Ducks! I have to admit I was nervous, but I knew we would win! We have not won a championship since 1957 so this is a very exciting time in football Auburn History! It makes it even more fun that I went to school there as did Brian! This is the cover of the Sports Illustrated cover coming out! I will be buying us a copy as soon as it comes out! :) Might need to be that cheesy fan and go buy a shirt too :) We shall see! Such a fun game! This is our Auburn man who stands outside in our yard lite up waving the football! The last picture Brian took of the mounds of snow we got the other day (very sarcastic here). Fun exciting Monday! Glad it is over, but so excited about a win!

And we are almost off!!!

We were gone to the beach this past weekend so I wasn't able to blog about Luke's exciting news! :) Luke last Thursday on Dec. 30th decided to take his first steps! He took about 3 steps and then fell! It was so darn cute and I was so proud of him! Everyday he is starting to get a little more brave and will take a few more, but Brian and I practice with him! It's going to be so funny watching him walk around the house! I know people told me I was going to dread him walking, but they also told me that about crawling! I mean he has to do it sometime huh?! :)

These are some sweet funny pictures Brian took of Luke. The top picture is him at the beach staring out in space, but sweet. The second picture is him in his new hat Penny gave him. And last would be his crazy hair :) We are hoping to have great pictures on the blog now thanks to Brian's new camera lens that he is obsessed with!

On the flip side of this baby growing in my belly that we often forget about, I will find out what he or she is on January 17th! I am pumped! I am ready to get the nursery started and get this house all together :)
