Every year they have the Bruno's Golf Tournament which is now the Regions Golf Tournament! I have gone to this every year since they have started it! It's always a lot of fun! This year I finally got to go when the celebrity's were out there! So me, Luke, Amanda, and Frank headed out on Thursday to see some people. We saw Bo Jackson (who is a jerk by the way), Bubba from the Rick and Bubba show, Jay Barker and Sara Evans (they go to our Church so I talked to her!). The funny thing about Jay Barker was he saw Frank holding his Auburn Football and Jay kept asking Frank to let him put Roll Tide on the football...Frank was not very nice about it and was like no you can't put that on my ball. The he asked if he could put it on his hat! Amanda is a big Alabama fan so of course she was embarrassed b/c Frank was so adamant about him not touching his football with those cuss words on his ball :) War Eagle everyone.
Sunday we went back with Brian and then met Nick, Volree, and Cooper at the tournament and watched a little golf. We ended up getting rained on a little bit but we were glad to at least see a little bit of golf!

Luke's First Temper Tantrum....

So we have hit a new stage in Luke's life called a temper and screaming when he can't have something he wants. First thing this child has become obsessed with is my cell phone. He loves my phone, but it is brand new and I don't really care to have drool and Luke slobber all over it. So what do I do? I give him my old phone which he is chewing on in the second picture. It wasn't good enough, but if he wants a phone, this will have to do :) He finally ended up falling asleep on me after his good cry and woke up the HAPPIEST baby! ha! It's times like these that you still have to get a picture. Some people don't post pictures like this b/c they want everyone to think their child is perfect! They ain't fooling nobody :) Like my English there? Now back to sweet Luke below :) He LOVES this little football.

The Day I Became A Mom.....

In honor of Mother's Day I thought I would post a picture of the day I became a mom. On November 19, 2009 God gave me a little boy, Luke Edward Harris. I have never been so happy in my life except for the day I married my best friend, Brian. These 2 boys mean the absolute world to me and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love this baby more and more everyday and can't imagine life without him. Brian and I have so much fun with him and I know he is going to get even more fun as he gets older! Luke, thank you for coming in to my life and making me a mom! I love you!

I can finally post these pictures to my blog! We gave the top picture to Frannie and Penny last night so we are safe to post them now! We will get other copies made for other family members if you want them! :)
We took Luke to Botanical Gardens about a month ago and had his pictures taken. One of my friends from high school is trying to start a little business on the side, so why not, we let her take them! She was so reasonable and the pictures turned out great! You can look at her blog here, Fresh Grace Photography. It was a beautiful day outside and the weather was perfect. I can't wait to take him back out there and take more pictures as he keeps on growing! :)

Luke's Dedication......

Last night we had Luke's Dedication at our Church! It was such a great time and so special to be able to present and dedicate our child to the Lord! I was worried about it for awhile b/c Luke goes to bed at 7 which is the time of the Church service! Thank goodness Frannie was here to get Luke to take a afternoon nap so he was perfect! Before the dedication we had some of my family and Brian's family come over for a quick and early dinner. My mom made her wonderful Lasagna and made Luke's beautiful cake. Luke wore my nephew Frank's outfit that Frank wore almost 8 years ago! That was special to me to be able to put him in something that was in the family I guess you would say. It was so crazy busy that the only picture that the 3 of us got is the one above that Brian's dad took. Luke had his great grandparents, Sue Mama and Joe Papa drive all the way from Abbeville for his special night! Thank you! I have some more pictures, but were not on my camera so we will have to share later!

Just a few pictures of our last week. We just found a little dimple on Luke's right cheek that is exactly where Brian's dimple is! I tried to get a picture, and well I came out with the above :). Luke is sitting up so well on his own! He will fall back sometimes, but doing so great! He still isn't rolling over great like other babies, but one thing at a time! Anyway, I had to take a picture of him in the big boy cart! Thanks Penny for the cart cover!
We went to go see one of my best friends Kelly in the hospital last week! She just had John Burke Henderson! He was so cute and tiny! We attempted to get a cute picture of the 4 of us, don't know what Luker is doing :)
We just got back from Atlanta this past weekend. Brian went for his friend JT's bachelor weekend so I hopped in the car and went over with him and stayed with Anna (Aunt DooDah) and Uncle Drew. We had a lot of fun shopping and hanging out!
We have a fun week ahead of us! Luke is being dedicated this week at Church so see you later for that post!
