May the Force be with you.....

My little Yoda
Star Wars Family
Bobby, Reese, Luke, and Cooper

Halloween was a lot of fun this year! It was Luke's first time to actually go up to the houses and say trick or treat! After we went to the first house and they put candy in his bag, he was like thank you and thought he was done. I told him lets keep going and get more candy, so when I said that he would say "more" after we left every house! It was so funny. Before we went trick or treating we headed over to the Robinsons house to eat chili. The kids had a fun time playing with each other. It was actually fun dressing up with the kids! I wouldn't mind doing that everywhere! We shall see what Luke wants to be next year! Happy Halloween!

Samuel....5 months!

My little Sambobo is 5 months old today! Brian took this picture a couple of days ago, so I figured it was close enough to today :) He really is such a sweet baby and is a big talker! Like I said earlier he is rolling over all over the place and it's so cute. We are having a bit of a hard time with him getting comfortable sleeping. He doesn't really like being swaddled anymore, but can't sleep and wakes himself up with his arms and it's so frustrating! We have now figured out he wants to sleep on his side! I am hoping we can get this down b.c I am TIRED! I have gotten up several times the past 2 nights trying to figure him out! He is still eating every 3, sometimes 4 hours. He will sleep a little better at night, but not quite yet, but it's just b/c of his sleep sack! He is a little chunky monkey! He wears a size 3 diaper and has been for a little while. This outfit he has on is a 18 month! ha! He doesn't wear stuff that big, but he is pretty much wearing 6 to 12 month clothes. I am going to start giving him baby food here soon consistently hoping he might sleep a little better. He loves Luke and is now getting to the point of smiling and talking to him. He watches Luke and it's so cute! I can't wait until this time next year! They are going to be best friends and that is when having them so close together is going to be way worth it! I am ready to sleep through the night again, but im not ready for either one to grow up. I love this age, and I think it's so sweet! Happy 5 months my little Samuel Barrett! (Yep, still want to call him Barrett :))

Roly Poly....

Sweet sweet Samuel....this baby is the sweetest thing ever! He is so laid back and just goes with the flow now. Yes, he was not like that at first, but he is catching on that we are an on the go family! Anyway, he rolled over from his back to tummy awhile ago. It was funny b.c my mom and I were just sitting there and he all of a sudden rolled! Of course he didn't do it again right off, but now he does! It is hilarious b/c I put him on his back on the floor and he just rolls right on over! It took Luke forever to do this! I have to still swaddle him and put him in his bed at naptime b/c he rolls over and takes him too long to go to sleep. We are hanging in there though. I can't believe he is going to be 5 months old next Monday! He did sleep almost 9 hours last night which was great. I am still just exhausted, so im ready to sleep! :)

be back later with cute halloween pictures!

Beach Trip!

We had the absolute BEST trip to the beach! Sam did great in the car, and we only stopped one time which was normal! It was so relaxing, and Luke had a blast! Of course no time to write so I will leave you with pictures!

Pumpkin Patch!

Yesterday we headed to the Pumpkin Patch at Old Bakers Farm in Harpersville. It was a beautiful morning! We pet some animals, rode a hay ride behind the tractor which Luke was loving, and picked out our pumpkins! It's very hard to get a picture now with both of the boys, but whatever we get will have to do! :) We had a lot of fun and Luke was so much fun to take. I swear it feels like we were just there with Luke! Sam had fun too :) I love doing this kind of stuff as a family! :)

Sam - 4 months!

excuse the quality of this picture! Will get a better one later with Brian's camera!

Well, here we are at 4 months! Is this still my blog?? I forget it a lot and have so many pictures to post on here! I will update this weekend! Samuel is a growing boy! We go to the doctor next week for his check up. I am still nursing him and it's going just great still. I am just worried because I think he might be obsessed with me :) During the day it's been really hard lately because he takes like 2, maybe 3, 30 minute naps and it's killing me! I have sweet friends who keep offering to take Luke off of my hands, and honestly, it's Sam! I am just exhausted and my patience is, well running very thin. I try so hard to watch myself and some days of course are worse than others. I find myself getting onto Luke for doing stupid stuff that I don't really care about, but im just so tired it gets to me! On the other hand, these 2 boys keep me laughing. Luke is hilarious these days and talks all the time. The boy is obsessed with tractors, dump trucks, trucks, etc! He is ALL BOY! He is super sweet to Sam and gives him his pacifier and is so proud when he does it! Sam is getting better in the car thank goodness! I really do think he just gave up :) We are heading to the beach here soon and I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!! We need a good getaway! I had to drop out of my bible study that I was doing and I am so bummed about it. It was just so in depth and I didn't have any time to actually sit down and do it, and I am so sad about it. I know again this is just a phase in our life right now. It's so hard to cherish these times when you are so tired and just want to get through the day you know? I always got so annoyed with people before I had Luke who would give me this petty advice, and oh how you are going to be so tired, blah blah blah....um...one child didn't phase me, but two! Yea where was the advice on that one! :) I kid I kid...not really.
Ok, so are you thinking right now I am miserable and exhausted and just not happy? :) Wrong. To be honest I wouldn't trade my life for one second. Yes I am tired, but I really love being a mom! Sam looks at me when I feed him and just gives me the biggest grin ever and just coos and talks so much and I love it. Luke, when I pick him up from MDO, he looks at me, grins, says hey, and hugs my neck. It's about the sweetest thing on this earth. THOSE are the things I cherish and make being exhausted all worth it. They don't see my flaws, and how tired I am and everything else. They just know I love them to death and take care of them! And I do!
Tomorrow we are going to the Pumpkin Patch!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it! :) We will have some oh so cute pictures to come on here! Stay tuned! Thanks for staying with me, if you are :) Oh here is Luke at 4 months below :)
