Yayas was rescued!
Yesterday at the park, Luke brought his favorite Yayas (aka Thomas) to the park to play. There is a storm drain in the middle of the park and all the little boys love to play over there. Well of course Luke put Thomas too close and low and behold Thomas fell in the drain!!!! I was actually upset too! It took a second for it to process that he was gone, and then Luke just started bawling crying! I mean there was absolutely nothing I could do! So last night Brian and I were sitting here talking and I kept saying how much I hated Thomas is in the drain. Brian said I'm going to go try and get him out! I knew if Brian couldn't figure out to get him he was lost forever and would be a park buddy. So Brian left and headed down there with his flashlight. He grabbed in the garage our light bulb changer since it was really long. Our friend Joe met Brian out there and as a team they literally fished Thomas out of the drain at almost 10 at night! Brian came home, walked through the door holding Thomas up!!!! I was so excited and proud too!!! Super hero dad to the rescue!!! Anyway, as you can tell by the picture Luke was super pumped dada had rescued our beloved Thomas the Train :)

Bobo - 7 months!

Here we are another month later! I can't believe he is already 7 months old! This baby is so sweet. He is pretty much on a day schedule, that is if we aren't running around everywhere! He is not always sleeping through the night still, but I am really starting to let him cry it out. He is getting a little more attached now and it's kind of a pain, but sweet at the same time! He is sitting up very well, and has been for a little while. He wants to crawl so bad, but since he can't crawl he rolls all over the place! He was at my mom's on the floor the other night and I left and came back in the room and didn't see him, but he was on the other side of the room! He flaps his arms like the picture above when he gets excited or wants you to pick him up. He is very laid back! Did you notice the title, Bobo? We call him Bobo more than anything! He has gone from Sam, to Sambo, to Sambobo, to now Bobo! Luke of course calls him Sesul, which is really cute. These boys love each other! I am honestly really excited about them playing together! Luke is very sweet to him, but then again, is too rough with him! Like today, when I wasn't looking, apparently Luke bit Sam's toes?! Sam was crying so hard and I knew it had to hurt b/c he NEVER cries unless something hurts him! Anyway, we are having a lot of fun with him! He is doing very well eating solid foods. He eats twice, maybe three times a day if he is lucky :) I am still nursing him. He eats every 3 to 4 hours. I am going to make it until 10 months and then hopefully he can go to straight whole milk! We are finally getting the hang of things around here! I keep watching my good friends who have just added their second child, and I know it's so hard! I promise though, it does get better! Always busy, but you get use to it. I wouldn't change it for anything!
Post later on the beach! I am so behind on this blog! Oh well, it will get up there sooner or later! Happy 7 months Bobo!

Sam - 6 months old!
Well that was a fast 6 months!! I'm going to be planning his first birthday before I know it! I took him for his check up today....he is 17 lbs 11 ozs, and almost 27 inches long! He is a growing happy boy! He loves Luke and now laughs at him and it's so cute! He rolls back and forth like a little fish all the time! Still nursing him! He eats every 3 to 4 hours and if I'm good I give him food! He is starting to be ok with the food. I just forget to give it to him! We are hitting the cry it out stage at night. I need sleep! We are staying busy and ready for Christmas! Sam is the sweetest baby! I just want to eat him up all the time! We love this baby! :)

Luke is 2!!!!

Sooo behind on my blog and have TONS of pictures to post! Anyway, my baby boy turned 2 on the 19th!!!!!! That was the fastest 2 years and I know he is going to be 30 before I know it :) We had a dump truck party (pictures to come) for him a week before his birthday and this is what he wore :) On his actual birthday we headed to the zoo! It was a lot of fun and Luke is real into it now b/c he is obsessed with animals! After the zoo we went to lunch and then headed home for naps! We had a fun day as a family!
I took Luke for his 2 year appt and he is a big growing boy! He was 70% percentile in weight (30lbs) and he was 90% percentile in height (almost 37 inches). The doctor told me he would be north of 6 ft tall! Nobody is really surprised at that! He might be taller than me as a teenager, but believe me my voice is bigger and stronger :)
Luke makes us laugh everyday! He talks all the time and cracks us up! He is obsessed with trains, Thomas, dump trucks, tractors, animals, etc! He eats everything under the sun which is great for us! We all sit at the table together every night and eat dinner. He is so cute when we say lets pray and he folds his hands up and squints his eyes! Love it! Took him to the allergist a couple of weeks ago and he is allergic to Peanut Butter! Thankfully it's not a throat swells up thing, and I hope he grows out of it! So if anybody is around him, don't bring a peanut butter snack around, because he eats everything :)
Luke loves going to Mother's Day Out and so do I! He loves his teachers and walks right on in! I do love going to pick him back up though! He is a very good big brother and loves Sambo a little too much as he smothers him :)
We love this kid so much and I can't imagine my life without him! He keeps me busy that's for sure!
Happy Birthday Luke! :)
