My Two Sons.....

We are seeing some light folks at the end of the tunnel! Yay! Hope I didn't just jinx myself! Anyway, Sam is getting more fun everyday! He smiles and coos and talks so much now! I love it! He "talks" a lot more than Luke did...hmmm...might be my son indeed :) He is a big boy! Wearing 6 month clothes, and still some 3 just depending on outfit. He still hates his car seat, well being strapped in. He will just have to get over that! Anyway, we are doing great! Finally getting cooler outside to walk and get rid of this baby weight I hope! Bye!

Luke's 1st day of school!

My baby boy is growing up! Luke started school (Ok, Mother's Day Out) yesterday!!! It was a special day to me as well because he is going to school where I grew up! It was so weird waiting in the parking lot waiting to pick him up, and thinking about how I use to run out to the same parking lot to my mom's car. I am not sure if Luke will go to real school there, but I wanted him to go to MDO just in case he went to a different school. He did well, but of course cried when I dropped him off! They were all crying though. When I picked him up, one of my dreams came true that I have been waiting for for 31 years, and that would be Luke handing me a picture that he made! I finally have my OWN child's art work to put on my refrigerator!!! I know this might sound just dumb to a lot of people, but I don't know why, I just have always looked forward to picking up my child from school and him handing me his art work that I could go cookoo over! It is hanging on our frig, but I am going to make a art wall in his room for all of it! Here is a picture below of his beautiful little hand prints on his apple tree :) So first day was a success! I think we will go back next week too :)


Oh, on a side note I LOVED his outfit! I have a friend/girl in my neighborhood that does an incredible job! Quick funny story though! This outfit originally had 3 crayons on it with Luke's initials. Well the night before school I was cutting something off the back of it and put a hole in the outfit! I of course freaked out, teared up a little bit, then took a deep breathe, and texted Brittany telling her what I did and asked for HELP HELP!!! I know some people are thinking, just put another outfit on him?! Are you kidding me? If you know me, that was unacceptable! You know I have had this outfit all ready for a month or so and he was going to wear this! It meant a lot to me! Anyway, I headed over to Brittany's house and she was so stinken sweet and stayed up to help me! We decided the apple might be the best thing to cover up the hole and she was right! I actually like it better than the crayons!!! I got home late, but with a perfect first day of school outfit. I owe her BIG TIME! She has a facebook page! Go check her out! Samuel 3 months!

Oh my goodness that was a fast 3 months! My little Sambo is growing up fast! He is still high maintenance though! He hates the car still and pretty much screams most of the time making any kind of trip not fun. We are headed to ATL soon and I am already dreading the car ride! I am still nursing him and he still eats every 2 to 3 hours! He is sleeping ok at night, but I still get up twice some nights. Needless to say I am just tired all the time! Good thing is, it's starting to cool off here and now I can actually go walk/run and get some of this weight off! Luke is very sweet with Sam. I think the sweetest thing is when Sam wakes up, he just smiles so big at me! I love it! He is turning into a little person now. I love having 2 boys and especially just being a goober and taking pictures of them all the time! Life is busy! :) Here is Luke in the same outfit at 3 months below :) They look nothing a like to us! You can tell they are brothers, but that is it! :)

Hello, hello....yep we are still here! I believe my friends forgot to mention how much work 2 kids can be :) It's actually getting a little bit more on a schedule now. Sam is finally giving me a break and is only eating every 3 hours! You have no idea how much a difference an hour makes! He is sleeping 5 to 6 hours at a time at night which I will take. I am still exhausted just from getting up, being a mom, TRYING to keep the house clean. Yesterday I turned 31. Wow first time to actually say and write that down. Anyway, let's just say that if it weren't for facebook, I would have never known it was my birthday! I had a great morning and then we headed to lunch with Brian and then it all went downhill from there. That afternoon after what should have been naps, but nobody slept but for about 30 minutes b/c Sam woke Luke up and he was in a foul mood...you get the idea; we noticed Brian had left his keys in my car from lunch. So we put everyone back in the car and took Brian his keys. Sam decided that he wanted to scream the WHOLE way to Brian's office. I cried in the parking lot when we saw Brian. Sam then cried the WHOLE way back to our house, but then fell asleep in the car with 3 minutes left of the trip, go figure. Thankfully, I have the sweetest and best husband ever, he walked in the door from work with flowers, he took the boys and I went and got a nice relaxing pedicure. When I came home from my pedi, Luke was in bed, Sam was asleep in his swing, and Brian had the table set, candles lit, music playing, and had my favorite, Manicotti. If you are jealous, you should be, because I can go ahead and tell you that I have the best husband who ever lived in this world! So needless to say, he turned my frown upside down :)
Anyway, we are gearing up for the first AUBURN TIGERS FOOTBALL GAME SATURDAY!!! WARRRRR EAGLE! I am so ready for fall! I am oh so very tired of this miserable 100 degree weather! I'm tired of sweating just to get in the car! I am ready for crisp cool air. Yes in about 3 or so months, I am going to be writing on here that I am ready for warm weather b/c I hate freezing weather! I wish it would just stay about 65 spring, fall, and winter, and then about 80 in the summer :) Who asks me though huh? :) We will be back this weekend and hopefully have some cute pictures of my boys in their Auburn stuff! :) Bye for now!

Brian's Birthday

Can we say T-I-R-E-D?? I can! :) We have been super busy lately just with life period! It has been fun though somehow. Sam is growing up so fast and is getting more and more personality and I just love it! He coos and awes and just smiles at us and it's the sweetest thing. I had a friend who I use to work with email me and ask me why I didn't warn her how chaotic it was having 2 kids :) I told her nobody warned me either :) Anyway, August is the fun month of birthdays! My mom, brother, Brian, and mine! I love my birthday, always have, always will :) Last weekend Brian's family came into town and Anna, Drew, and Jackson spent a few days with us. We had a lot of fun. On Tuesday, Anna and I went to Montgomery to hang out with MiMi and do what we do best and shop! If you ever want to entertain us, just take us shopping :) Anyway, Luke and Jackson (probably more Luke) had the best time! He was so hyper the whole time it was hilarious. It made me excited about how Luke and Sam will be one day! Thankful for Anna, Brian and I got to go out for his birthday. We went to a restaurant called Avo and it was soooo good! We had the best night sitting outside in a corner with a nice breeze. We just had a great time...it almost felt like we were dating again, but the best part was I got to come back home with him :) Thanks DooDah for taking care of the boys!
I have more pictures to post, but just wanted to check in...the blog is last priority right now, which I hate, but oh well.
I am starting up my Bible Study again tomorrow and I am so excited about it! Until then, be back soon!

2 months......

Happy 2 months to my little Sambo! Such a big boy! Today I got out with just Sam for a few hours and we went shopping! It was great! I can move fast with just one child :) I had already forgotten those days! I wouldn't trade it though! Fun day! Stop growing up so fast! Love you buddy....Oh and today, You smiled at us for the first time....it was the sweetest thing!
