Furniture and bedding.....

It's here, it's here! Well the furniture is technically sitting on my porch as we speak! I am sure that doesn't look weird with 5 big boxes sitting on the porch! I hope no one gets them! :)

We have technically not seen the furniture yet, so fingers crossed that none of it is damaged in the delivery and that it is cute! I mean if you know me, my heart will just be crushed if it is awful looking :) The bedding is precious and some of the pieces have come in, but the other stuff won't be here until the end of August! It is from Restoration Hardware Baby...

So here is the bedding, crib and then the dresser/hutch that goes along with it! Our chair is on order so once it comes in I will take a picture of it and post! :) Hope you like it! :)

Luke's gifts!

I thought I would have a fun post and let you see some pictures of things Luke has gotten! I had my work shower last Thursday and it was so much fun! I have all the things that we got from the shower and other gifts we have gotten laid out in the room that will be his nursery! It is kind of funny to see baby clothes in a room with a gun case and deer head :) Oh well! His furniture should be here in about 3 weeks and then we can start the fun part!

The first picture is a bassinet that my good friend Lynley gave us! I filled it up with stuff from the shower! The clothes all around it were gifts from the shower or from family! So cute!

Next is the pillowcase with his name on it that matches his bedding! I love blue and brown and polka dots! The monkey woobie is Brian's favorite! He loves monkey's so of course I had to get a monkey thing! You will see throughout the post a lot of monkey stuff! NO, his room is not a monkey theme! It makes Brian happy to see some monkey stuff, so we will have a few things, but not a collectible museum of monkeys!! :) The blanket right beside it is the most soft blanket Amanda gave me! I love it!

This is my diaper bag that my mom gave me!! Isn't it so cute! It is a little girly for Brian to carry it in case he has to pick the baby up, so I told him I would get him a cute camo bag (if that can be cute :) )

These are just 5 little outfits out of a million it seems like that my sweet friend Lynley gave us! She has 2 precious little boys, so she has given me pretty much all of their nice outfits! I have a whole bag of clothes! I love them!

This is the first outfit I bought and had monogrammed the day we found out it was a boy! It is the softest material and I can't wait to put him in it! :)

Precious burp cloths that I got from my shower! The bottom one is from Lynley with the sweet lamb on it. She calls this one my "church burp cloth" :)

Last!: This is the bed with a bunch of stuff I got from the shower!!! Blankets, outfits, diapers, books, and of course his first Auburn jersey!!! Brian thinks Luke is going to wear this this year, but it will be for next year! We got another precious onesie that is Auburn he can wear along with his cute AU pacifiers! :)

So this little one is set! We are so excited to meet this little man in November! :)

What was that I felt??!!!....

So last night was the first night I felt Luke on the outside of my belly! It scared me at first b/c sometimes you forget you have a human living inside of you! I will have to say that feeling was the coolest and most incredible thing I have ever felt!! He did it again late that night and I ran over to Brian hoping he could feel him as well, but I guess he stopped.

Anyway, not much going on with us! Going to visit my brother and sister in law and Fletch this weekend in Memphis!

My niece Anna Frances is sweet as can be and makes me so much more ready for Luke to come in November!!! I know it will be here before we know it!

Anna Frances Brocato...

My sweet niece was born yesterday! She was a tiny little thing! 5 lbs, 15 ozs, 19 3/4 inches long! Baby and Mama are doing great! Isabella and Frank love her!! I guess that is a good thing :) Here are a few pictures from yesterday!

It's A............BOY!!!!!!

Well it is official! We are having a sweet baby boy on November 18th!!! His full name will be Luke Edward Harris. I have had the name Luke picked out for about a year now! Edward is Brian's middle name, his dad, and his grandfather, so we kept that in the family! It has been a crazy day. Why did I even come to work today because it is 3:45 and I have not done anything today! I already bought the bedding since I have had it picked out for 5 months now! :) It is so funny how now that I know I am having a boy, I don't even notice all the cute girl stuff out! Today I went to Monograms Plus and bought a onesie and a little monkey woobie (both with his initials or name on it)!!! I mean I have known he was a boy for about 6 hours now and I am going crazy! Someone stop me!! :) Anyway, Brian and I are so excited. Brian is excited he has a hunting buddy now! He and his dad are excited about that! I guess that means I will have to order a camo onesie for when we go hunting in January! (Brian hunts at his grandparents land in Dothan, so we stay with them! Didn't want anyone thinking I was going up in a tree with the baby! :). So now we wait for 22 more weeks for this precious being to come. Please pray for us as we go through this fun, exciting journey.....

Boy or Girl???

It is making me laugh how many people are telling me I am having a boy! It's almost like I want to have a girl just so everyone will be wrong! Ha! I don't care what it is. I just want a healthy baby boy or girl. That is all we are praying for right now!

So only 1 day left and we shall know what this precious human being is inside of me! I hope I don't have a stubborn child who crosses their legs and never lets me see what they are :)

So what is your guess? I want to see what other people are saying?! :)

18 days and counting......

So...18 more days and we will finally know if Luke or Maggie will be arriving in November! I can hardly wait! How do people not find out??? More power to you if you don't find out, but geez, I am ready to get this party started! :) I can't wait to start the nursery and have everything in order and ready to go! I probably should stretch it out decorating so I am not bored sitting there looking at the nursery and knowing I have 3 more months to go! :) Oh well, so that is where we are today! I of course totally think it is a girl, Brian on the other hand thinks it is boy! I guess one of us will be right! I don't care what we have. I just want a happy and healthy baby!
